About the first collection.
Nona about the Brazilian Origins collection: "Brazilian Origins is more than just a collection for me – it's part of my history. My grandmother danced in these typical carnival costumes 30 years ago. Her love of samba and fashion was a great inspiration for me and this entire collection. An important element for her was always the hibiscus flower, which she often worked with back then. I have reinterpreted it as a symbol of beauty, appreciation and family ties. I am the fourth generation of Brazilian fashion in my family. My great-grandfather had a menswear label, my parents had lingerie and my grandmother had her brand “Areia quente” (hot sand)."
With our first collection, we were able to prove our concept and our confidence. Boodies sold out within a few hours, and demand remained high. Several restocks sold out within minutes and products remained out of stock.
